TweedleWink™ and Wink™
Right Brain Learning Programs
...where learning begins with a hug!
I began my teaching career in an ecclectic school that blended accelerated learning techniques with The Montessori Method. Founded in 1968, the school catered to students from infancy to high school. The teachers were all creative and dynamic. There was a tangible electricity in the air. It was pretty amazing.
I joined the school over 25 years ago, when my first child was 3 months old. I was so eager to learn flashcards, music theory, infant massage, and more! It was amazing to see young children learn quickly—in different areas. Some were early readers, some were little artists or dancers, some were amazing mathematicians, and all were extremely precious. It was truly a "right brain" way to learn.
When the school closed in the late 90's due to lack of funding, I realized that we needed to share what we had learned with the world. So, a sister-teacher, Linda Branson, and I began to create products, give workshops and teach parents and teachers on-line. What should we call this method of learning? Right brain education.
Over the years, this approach has culminated into 2 learning methods:
-
TweedleWink (for prenatal to preschool)
-
Wink (for elementary, teens and adults)
Now under the umbrella of Right Brain Kids, this program is available through:
